Gold Moon PVC Pipes - Gold Moon

PVC Pipes & Fittings

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Pipes from Gold Moon are lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant pipes designed for a wide range of plumbing and drainage applications. Manufactured using high-quality PVC resin, these pipes ensure long-term performance, low maintenance, and easy installation for both residential and commercial use.

Gold Moon PVC pipes are suitable for cold water systems, underground drainage, agricultural irrigation, cable ducting, and more. Known for their cost-effectiveness and durability, our PVC pipes are a smart and sustainable choice for modern infrastructure.

The size of a PVC pipe

The size of a PVC pipe—including its length and diameter—is a key factor that directly influences its price. Larger diameter pipes typically require more raw material and are built to handle higher flow rates or pressure, making them more expensive than smaller pipes.

  • Wall thickness (pressure class)

  • Type of application (agricultural, drainage, conduit, etc.)

  • Quality of raw material used

At Gold Moon, we ensure competitive pricing across all sizes without compromising on quality, durability, or performance.

Four Types of PVC Pipes

Unplasticized PVC (uPVC)

  • Description: The most common type of PVC, also known as rigid PVC. It does not contain plasticizers.
  • Use: Drinking water supply, plumbing, and drainage systems.
  • Features: Strong, durable, corrosion-resistant, and safe for potable water.

Chlorinated PVC (CPVC)

  • Description: PVC that is chlorinated to withstand higher temperatures.
  • Use: Hot and cold water systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Features: Heat resistant up to 93°C, chemical-resistant, and suitable for hot water.

Molecular Oriented PVC (PVC-O)

  • Description: PVC that has undergone a molecular orientation process to improve strength.
  • Use: High-pressure water distribution systems, irrigation, and infrastructure projects.
  • Features: High impact strength, lightweight, and long-lasting.

High Impact PVC (PVC-Hi)

  • Description: Modified PVC with added impact modifiers.
  • Use: Electrical conduits, construction, and industrial applications.
  • Features: Enhanced impact resistance, UV stability, and flexibility.

How is PVC made?

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is manufactured through a chemical process that begins with two key raw materials: ethylene, derived from petroleum or natural gas, and chlorine, which is obtained through the electrolysis of salt. These substances react to produce vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) — the core ingredient of PVC. The VCM then undergoes polymerization, a process in which individual molecules link together to form long chains, creating a fine white powder known as PVC resin.

To enhance the properties of this resin, various additives such as stabilizers, plasticizers (for flexible PVC), pigments, and lubricants are blended in. This mixture is then processed using extrusion or molding techniques to form pipes, sheets, fittings, and other PVC products. The final material is known for its durability, chemical resistance, lightweight nature, and cost-effectiveness, making it ideal for plumbing, electrical conduits, construction, and industrial use
